Zelenskyy has named a military unit after the "Heroes of the UPA. [Ukrainian nationalist partisans. Victims: 60,000–100,000+ Polish civilians murdered mainly in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia 1943–1945, in brutal ethnic cleansing massacres, collaborated with III Reich]. This is an open spit in the face of every Pole whose grandfathers, grandmothers, uncles, and aunts were hacked to death with axes, pitchforks, and saws in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia. This is a kick in the face to the memory of the thousands of murdered children, women, and elderly — a massacre that the UPA carried out with premeditation and such bestiality that even the Germans felt sick. Imagine someone in Germany naming a military unit the "Heroes of the Einsatzgruppen." The world would explode. And here? Silence.This is not honoring people who fought for independence. This is honoring butchers who murdered defenseless people solely because they spoke Polish and went to church. And Zelenskyy, instead of distancing himself from this bandit heritage, is deliberately smashing it into Poland’s face. I feel disgust and burning shame for all those who will downplay this and say "this is not the time to protest." Because it is the time. There is always time to prevent murderers from being turned into heroes. I demand that President Nawrocki revoke Zelenskyy’s Order of the White Eagle.
